I’m considering a variety of subwoofers made for home theater systems, but i’d like to use it on my computer that has 6 analog audio ports, an s/pdif in, and an s/pdif out. If it helps, I specifically have an Abit AB9 Pro motherboard with it’s onboard sound. Is there a certain cable I could use to connect it? One of the onboard sound ports on the motherboard says its specifically for a subwoofer, so is there something specific I could use to connect it?
P.S. Id like to keep my regular 2.0 speakers that I have that connect to the green audio port on the onboard sound.
